At a time with the economy suffering, and home based manufacturing in particular, feeling the pinch, Ireland’s Master Tailor, Louis Copeland & Sons, has once again proved that there is no substitute for home grown talent and quality. Louis has tailored a beautiful, Hand Made, Authentic Donegal Tweed Jacket for US President, Barack Obama. The garment, which has been tailored specifically to President Obama’s size in Louis’ Capel Street workshop, and will be hand delivered to Washington in time for the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Commenting on President Obama's dress sense, Louis Copeland said , "Early on in President Obama's political career, I noticed his classic sense of gentlemanly style as evident by his
preference for strong, solid coloured suits, and assertive shirt and tie combinations. We have made many items of clothing for many noted names, including Presidents Reagan and Clinton, and are proud to be able to present this jacket as a symbol of our own Irish style."
