The Italian tailor has strong links with the famous British spy, James Bond. In the movie ‘Casino Royale’, everyone at the casino table was dressed by Brioni. Indeed both Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan have worn the classic suits in several Bond movies, as well as making an impression with them in public.

Founded in Rome by master tailors Nazareno Fonticoli and Gaetano Savini in 1945, they named their shop ‘Brioni’ after a sea resort in the Adriatic called ‘Brijuni’. They started to become successful in the 50’s and in 1954, after they launched the “Brioni” label at a fashion show in New York. That same year they opened their first shop in the U.S. and after that the rest is history.

Today, Brioni employs over 900 tailors, creating hundreds of styles of some of the finest hand-made Italian suits in the world. Many famous people are fans of the classic brand including Donald Trump, Al Pacino , Robert Kennedy and Nelson Mandela.
