The wedding day isn't just the brides' day it's also the grooms' big day too. Therefore it’s only right that he should look every bit as elegant.

The groom’s outfit needs to fit perfectly, feel comfortable and look elegant, which will then compliment the bride and the bridal party.  The traditional choices are either a ‘Morning Suit’ (tails) or a ‘Dress Suit’ (Black Tie). However, the most popular option of late is for a classic suit, in black, navy, or charcoal grey.

Many brides have been thinking of their wedding day since they were a little girl; they will have a specific colour theme in mind and will often want the groom’s outfit to coordinate with it. This can be done in a variety of ways, for example, by matching the groom’s outfit with the timeless look of an ivory double cuff (French-Cuff) shirt and an ivory tie. Our extensive choice of colours in shirts and ties is vast, so we can cater for all tastes. Our selection of cufflinks can add another layer of elegance and personal style to an outfit. If the bride’s gown has been tailor-made, another option is to order extra material from which we will make the ties.

Bear in mind when you choose your wedding outfit, it should complement the bride’s wedding dress rather than overshadow it. Traditionally, a bride-to-be, will not allow the groom to see The Wedding Dress until the Big Day, so when couples shop for a wedding outfit, the bride-to-be can play an integral part in choosing a colour scheme.

A Tip From The Experts
We have a lot of experience with weddings and one of the tips we have learned over the years is to buy a spare of whichever shirt you decide to wear on the day.  To allow you to freshen up, or even in case of any mishaps before the wedding photos have been taken!  If you have been having too much fun and don’t get the chance to use your spare shirt, we will be happy to exchange it at a later date.

For the day after, we highly recommend an outfit that is more relaxed, whether it be something casual in Boss or Gant Knitwear, with a polo shirt and Boss jeans, or something a little more dressy in maybe a Canali jacket, with a Paul & Shark shirt and dressy Boss trousers, we have a huge selection of both casual and smart casual wear.
