It was 1934 when Gerry Ettinger came to Britain and established G. Ettinger Ltd. Thanks to Gerry’s talent for languages, his love of travel and his excellent business brain (honed at the family tailoring company), Ettinger has since grown into the reputable British brand it is today.
Ettinger has been manufacturing leather goods for members of the Royal Family for many years and in 1996 this work was formally recognised when they were granted a Royal Warrant to HRH The Prince of Wales.
Ettinger takes great pride in its craftspeople. Among the last to still make leather goods in the UK, the quality of their goods and attention to detail are paramount to our success. They continuously improve their quality control to ensure the highest standards throughout the production process. It is no wonder, then, that it takes at least 5 years to fully train a new Ettinger craftsperson.
