The Second Shirt
Your wedding day is such a big and busy day, meeting and greeting family and friends, all the while looking your best for the photographs or video. It’s understandable that it might be difficult to keep cool and relaxed. We always recommend that you have a second shirt on standby so if you discover makeup on your shirt from all those hugs or if you would just like to freshen up, you have the option to do so.
Bowties and Ties
We often make the extra effort for our wedding day. If you’ve decided to wear a special knot in your tie or if you’ve purchased a self-tie Bowtie, make sure you allow time to learn how to tie it correctly. The last thing you need is to be searching online trying to figure it out on the morning of your wedding.
The Perfect Footwear
So you’ve completed your wedding outfit with the perfect pair of shoes. Before the big day wear them a few times, just around the house as this will help soften them. Softening your shoes before your wedding will make them more comfortable, will help prevent them from rubbing on the day and will allow you to pull your favourite moves on the dance floor!
Cuffs & Cufflinks
This may seem obvious, but the run up to a wedding can be a very busy time, it’s often the little things that are missed. If you are wearing a double cuff shirt make sure you have a pair of suitable cufflinks. It’s also worth double checking that you have a belt that matches the colour of your shoes.
Pressed and Ready!
If you find your suit has become a little creased, simply hang it in the shower room the night before or on the morning of your wedding, the steam from the shower will allow the creases to fall out gently. DO NOT use an iron on your suit.
