Copperfish, an award-winning family-owned enterprise situated in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, specializes in crafting lighting fixtures using reclaimed and storm-fallen timber. The company was founded in 2016 by Eoin Shanley, who acquired the skill of working with old salvaged wood while restoring an ancient thatched cottage. During this time, Eoin's spouse, Yvonne, delved into the research of eco-friendly materials and conservation techniques. Subsequently, Eoin began designing his own lighting pieces using the skills he had acquired, after demand grew among their friends and relatives for his distinctive light fixtures, Yvonne and Eoin decided to set up Copperfish.
